Using an ultra sound the vein is identified and a laser fiber is passed inside a small tube into the vein sealing it from top to bottom
Does the procedure hurt?
Local Anaesthetic will be used to numb the area to make the process as comfortable as possible
How does it work?
The infrared beam is passed through the vein using a laser fiber
How long does the procedure take ?
The procedure takes around 40 minutes
What are the risks
The treatmentis very safe. There are rare risks of Deep vein Thrombosis.
The most common risk is bruising and discomfort
