My journey with Evolve Medical began with a consultation with Nurse Rachel at the old practice in Farsley before they moved. We sat down and talked about what I wanted and the look I wanted to achieve.
At the consultation Rachel talked it all through with me in really great detail. Even though I had had prior treatment she still talked me through each of the treatments and what that involved, what the possible risks and side effects were. She did talk me through worst case scenarios what might happen but reassured me that if that did happen everything was in place so she could treat it. Being a trained nurse with 20 years’ experience I knew I was in the best possible hands.
A couple of weeks later it was time for my appointment, this time at their shiny new clinic. I was so impressed with their new building, walking in somewhere like that gave me a really good impression of the company. It looked really really professional, super clean, so much bigger and they offer a wider range of treatments. Everything about the clinic says ‘well established and professional company.’ The appearance along with all the other healthcare treatments they now offer really does make you feel like you are walking into a clinic rather than a salon. The old premises were lovely, but these are simply stunning – go and see for yourself!
On the day of my treatment, Rachel met me and we went up to the treatment room, again she was constantly putting me at ease and made me feel very comfortable, explained everything in detail about what she was going to do, what it would feel like, how I would feel afterwards, what would be normal to expect, what would be not normal, and then, during the treatment, again she was really really good, she told me when she was going to inject, she gave me a squeezey ball to squeeze, because even though I had done it before I’ve still got a thing about needles.
Rachel was great, she made me feel calm and at ease, she was constantly talking to me which calmed me. The treatment went really well, there was literally no bruising at all, there was no sign I had had anything done as soon as I stepped out of the clinic. Then it was just the normal healing process with my lips. There was hardly any swelling at all I was really impressed compared to the first time I had my lips done, literally zero bruising and nothing developed. Rachel talked me through how to carry out the correct aftercare and I felt confident in what I was doing.
I’m very happy with the shape, I could see immediately that I’d got exactly what I had wanted which was like my lips though better. I had 1mm injected which has kept them more on the natural side so I don’t look like I have had filler – exactly the results I wanted.
I’m absolutely over the moon with the treatment, my lips look great and I’ve had lots of compliments about them. I would without hesitation recommend Evolve Medical to anyone thinking of having any aesthetics done. I think the whole clinic is run so very well, Rachel is professional and friendly, knows exactly what she’s doing and has been doing it for over a decade.
Please always go to a GP or Nurse-led clinic for your fillers (Evolve Medical have both a Nurse and a GP in the clinic). You can risk very traumatic consequences going somewhere where they are not medically trained and don’t understand facial anatomy – there’s arteries in there people!
If you fancy getting your lips done – here’s an offer for you!
